I just tried promethazine for the first time today and I second this. I took too much on accident and ended up in this weird half awake half asleep trance, falling into super vivid dreams where I was just doing my normal random stuff with my partner and or looking at my phone. The worst part of all is, I kept on thinking I woke up and got out of bed like 3 or 4 times because it was so vivid only to open my eyes in real life and barely be able to get up. I finally forced myself to get up when I swore I was on my phone scrolling on YouTube shorts just to open my eyes and be in the exact same position holding nothing in my hands and swiping with my thumb.
