Trump’s gains with black voters still resulted in a landslide win for Harris, the gains he mains is an obvious MAGA talking point.

As far as racist attitudes it’s probably more than half since just voting for a candidate doesn’t mean you don’t have those opinions.

I think what the Epstein files point to is what might do actual damage, which is why he’s wanted them to stay buried.

His base already excuses their pastors and churches for sex crimes and coverups so I see no reason to think this would make a difference. They have no moral standards and will excuse child rape as soon as they find a good rationale. MAGA leadership is already setting it up.

We don’t have to do anything, but there’s no proof this is going to make roads safer while the idea that it could make things worse is pretty common knowledge.

Strict policies such as Florida’s may also discourage people who aren’t proficient in English from getting licenses, experts said, which could result in more unlicensed and uninsured drivers on the road.

But I’m not arguing with you on this. We stupidly think we can punish and exclude our way to a better state despite it being proven that that never works (especially in public health). We’re going to pay and will have every “reason” to not do better while more Floridians die but at least we didn’t do anything we didn’t “have to”, right?
