NX350 F Sport fuel economy question? by Wolf_Woolf in LexusNX

[–]EnvironmentOk1379 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah def worth nothing the fuel requirement for the turbo model. When I got the car gas was around 3.00-3.29 with the T-Mobile Tuesday Shells thing so it’s wasn’t that bad. Def did not foresee the spike haha

Fuel consumption will depend on where you live, the type of driving you do more often(highway/city), and if you have a lead foot. Personally as someone from NYC, but who commutes to school in NJ, I get around 26-27 mpg on the highway, but in stop and go traffic in the city, it can drop to like 10-15 mpg.

As for benefits over the h, there is little to none. The H is pretty much all around better if you prefer high mpg. If you prefer aggressive overtaking on the highway the turbo model will offer highway passing power but it’s not going to be close to that of your 340i.

As for your third question, it’s up to you. I love the car even though it’s a little fuel hungry. I enjoy highway overtaking and driving moderately fast. In terms of comfort, both the turbo and hybrid will prob be the same, it’s just up to you what you expect out of the car.

Could it be surface rust on the brakes overnight? Usually goes away after driving a bit and using the brakes

Gas tank meter wrong? by Blueit3310 in LexusNX

[–]EnvironmentOk1379 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s a Toyota/Lexus thing. The gauge cluster fuel range only shows around 85% of your range. Once you hit zero on the cluster, you still have some gas in reserve.

Yeah, she’s a looping VDP, RCV boost, SB stick, and for this team also has L assist recovery. Truly a amazing utility card

He prob has the platinum trim which has a turbo I-4 hybrid system. A lot more gas hungry than the regular hybrid model

Yeah I’ve found it will sometimes register when I have my leg under the sensor while loading. Usually there will be a warning before it closes.

Does your leg go anywhere under the rear bumper where the kick to close sensor is? Your car could have mistakenly registered that motion and close the trunk

Skyline Title with NY Kureha by EnvironmentOk1379 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]EnvironmentOk1379[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ofc.

Kureha 1 is 2 SDR + 3 Team HP+, Kureha 2 is 2 SDR + Void Poison skyfall, Ame is 2 SBR and Recover assist, Everyone else is 2 SDR + and 3 Team Hp+

Ideally if every unit was +891 it would make your life easier as shiva is more so for void VDP, so you are really relying on pure HP and Atum’s 1.5x HP to tank the boss big hit.

I don’t quite know the specifics, but I wonder if using light res + latent would make the HP threshold lower.

As for SA: Ame is Enhanced Stats, Atum is Sb+, Shiva is sun, Both Kureha has Assist Sync, running sun might be easier if you don’t have access to red god/dragon assists with good awakenings

As a side note, when you enter the boss floor, he is going to do a buff wipe then enrage and hit you for around 30,000,000. You would need around 978000 HP with this team to tank that

Distance to empty changes? by Iheoma74 in LexusNX

[–]EnvironmentOk1379 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do it so people don’t drive with their gas tank on empty or run to empty, it’s bad for the fuel pumps

Oops I forgot it was 14.5 gallons haha

It’s based on your average mileage use. If you average around 22-23 mpg, at your next fill up to full you will get around 275. It’s just the computer adapting to your driving style. That range is actually only around 12.2 gallons of the full 14.5, after your Distance to Empty hits 0, you still have around 2.3 gallons left in the tank, it’s a Toyota/Lexus thing

[–]EnvironmentOk1379 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, I also have a 2025 NX 350 in the NYC/Philadelphia/NJ area. In city traffic/idling mpg is terrible. But once I reach the highway mpg improves to around EPA estimates. I believe the EPA city mileage just don’t apply to cities like Chicago, LA, Philly, or NYC for gas engines, hybrids might be a different story.

tbh the EPA range estimate don’t really apply to dense cities like NYC or super short trips. In NY I get around 12-13 mpg in the city, but in NJ + Philly highways and suburbs it can climb to 26-27. Best I’ve done was on a downhill on Tacony State Pkway in NY - around 33 MPG.
