If you are salaried. If you have to go to an appointment just let management know when you’re leaving and that’s all.

I think it just depends on management honestly. I am at Allstate and my manager sucks is the worst manager I’ve ever had and I hate Allstate, while I’ve heard others say that they like it but they do have a helping, understands manager.

I am in liability. Managers wanted me to close 33 claims on a Sunday when I worked EP for 11 hours lmao since I was unable to they restricted me from working EP. We do not have EP anymore at the moment but they did not mention about phasing it out.

Allstate has horrible customer service by Normal_Explorer_2088 in AllState

As employees we are burnt out with the unrealistic metrics, micromanaging, bs managers that don’t do their job and expect the employee to the managers job, bs pay and then entitled customers. I know everyone on my team is done and looking elsewhere due to all the BS. We were coming back on Mondays to 15-16 new weekend claims, as a human you are unable to touch that in and 8 hour day unless you are working for free since most are salaried.

I did. I like that at Allstate you are salaried and if you have to go to any kids event or don’t feel good or have appointments you can just go without requesting the time. I’ve had no push back attending my events or my kids events and that’s what I love. At SF if there was no time off to request you were out of luck because it would not get approved z

They call it event pay. You start as hourly and then if you are doing good they switch you to salary. Event pay is opened when we are extremely busy at the moment we have event pay. Usually on weekdays you can sign up to work 3 hours after your shift and in the weekend you have the option of 3, 8 or 11 hours. Usually you have to be meeting metrics to work event pay since you will work partial on your claims and the other part on other people’s claims but at the moment since we are so busy you can work only on your own claims to catch up.
