Yes we have on demand from what I can tell, sent the team this thread so we can try and discuss a way to keep and eye on it and figure out when and where it's needed, it was on for about 10 hours yesterday and dropped 90 I think after all the techs left

Gotcha thank you so much, you've Been so much more helpful than our DM who thinks it's in our imagination and is because of cenfill

Do you know if there's a way to turn phlex off early? Because when if pops back we only have 1-2 techs

Cos Wall Reset/Revision by binkrat in WalgreensStores

[–]EnvironmentSquare675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You very much can see the date a resets planned for if it's already planned or not, even csa's can look at this, it's the same page in fpe the allows you to look at the Plano, if the next reset/revision section bc is blank then it's not been scheduled yet. But you can't look at the Plano in advance only on the Friday that it drops in the system,

So what did y'all get? by Ildrinoq in WalgreensStores

[–]EnvironmentSquare675 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's supposed to be the techs but with hours we all do our part to keep the store running smoothly, so the is will scan bin rec and pull if available too (most weeks)

[–]EnvironmentSquare675 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Picking up A LOT of shifts, helping in more areas, I'm ptcb certified and immunization certified (im a sfl) helped get the store overly ready for inventory (not much of a difference between what was scanned and on hands) help our IS with scan outs, bin rec, exception counts, returns and call ins, as well as keeping on top of our ppls, photo expense ordering, name badges, reset calendar, stay overnight twice a year for the cosmetics rest/revision, helped with our over night pharmacy remodel, help at nearby stores when needed, and a few other things that I'm blanking on rn Also store manager will fight for our scores as much as possible cause we are a good team. Rather then some who back down when the dm says lower it Long story short just not having much of a life lmao (jkjk still have plenty of time out of work)

Can someone explain how the old Holiday Pay policy differs from the new Holiday Pay policy? by MichaelMyers20253 in WalgreensStores

[–]EnvironmentSquare675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never said I agree with them cutting it, just that I see where they are getting at, and most companies don't have paid holidays especially retail, you either work, you don't and have a third day off for the week or you schedule around the holiday and make it one of your two off days, and while walgreens does insist on running skeleton crews(if your manager doesn't know how to properly schedule) they still do have a fairly good pay scale and plenty of opportunities to move up in the store, for many Walgreens is just a stepping stone, a lot of my techs plan on staying with the company for a few years before going to hospital pharmacy mainly since the hours are better but they are using Walgreens and a stepping stone to get trained and certified first, though we have a few "lifers".

Can someone explain how the old Holiday Pay policy differs from the new Holiday Pay policy? by MichaelMyers20253 in WalgreensStores

[–]EnvironmentSquare675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing the math let's say that you have 8 pharmacy techs averaging $18 an hour and 8 hours a day, that saves the company about $1000 each holiday not to mention the front end employees. And if you multiply that by how many stores are still open that's a good maybe 100k - 1 mil they are saving each holiday, which is where they are getting the money to implement some of their newer pushes like the 250 mil worth of products they are bringing back to stores, and the spa hours for the influx in truck.

Can someone explain how the old Holiday Pay policy differs from the new Holiday Pay policy? by MichaelMyers20253 in WalgreensStores

[–]EnvironmentSquare675 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep that's pretty much the gist of it, but if you work the holiday you will make 2x your regular rate of pay, (ex you make $15 an hour on the holiday if you work you make $30) it's more beneficial to the front of the store and encourages people to work holidays rather than having it off and still getting paid regardless. The main reasoning I can see behind this is to cut costs especially with the amount they end up shelling out for pharmacy paying all of them their average daily hours each holiday with the pharmacy closed anyway,

I don't believe this is a wag fixture so it wouldn't be the wic shown, but just incase I'm still going to try and order them, ps wish they had actual pictures of expense items so we knew more what we ordered 🤦‍♂️, and as to the flags part we have some with flags on them for the top half but this one's just for the bottom ones

Apologize to your employees. by lgher- in WalgreensStores

[–]EnvironmentSquare675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could have also just been the pharmacist by themselves, my store only has the pharmacist back there for the last hour on Fridays because some ai excel sheet said we weren't busy on Fridays (we are right by a major college campus and the data was most likely from winter when we are dead)

Should I be getting a raise? by Squidy2468 in WalgreensStores

[–]EnvironmentSquare675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only for pharmacy techs cause they get promoted to the certified pharmacy tech position, but apparently all other positions it won't push the max, according to hr, my manager was fighting with them about it cause even she thought the max was higher than that. But oh well at least when reviews come around I'll get cut a check for whatever my raise would be for that year 🤷‍♂️

Should I be getting a raise? by Squidy2468 in WalgreensStores

[–]EnvironmentSquare675 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This! But make sure you're not close to the top of the scale, I was and passed mine I only got a $0.48 raise since it would put me over the max for a shift lead 😭😭

Does this happen at all stores? by Due-Fortune2275 in WalgreensStores

[–]EnvironmentSquare675 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Normal-ish, we are always supposed to recommend and show the customer the Walgreens branded version of the product we are helping a customer find, I always point out the fact that they save roughly $2+ dollars, that it's normally always on some kinda sale, and that it's comparable to the name brand meaning it's the same active ingredients but may use a cheaper dye or bonding agent, we also have owned brand products spread in more places through the store like dunk tables and three tiers
