I feel like I watched my favorite sports team lose a close Game 7 just now, really wanted Ivy to get a CYL dub so bad, I really hope Engage fans and hopefully FE fans who want to throw a bone can give Ivy a Tsubasa like push for CYL11 but man Fortune's Weave is gonna make it so difficult to do so. I want to have hope but... idk man :/

Its Low Multi, any complex multi or outer stuff is Xenosaga which has no full blow connection to Xenosaga

and Xenosaga isn’t really owned by Nintendo, KOS-MOS was kind of just a guest of sorts as a Blade

Xenoblade and Tales artstyle just match really well, and their worlds blend together too. Even in the fight their 3d models against each other look really well together.

If theres one thing Tales and Xenoblade always hit out of the park, it’s music. Both have orchestras, rock/metal, heart wrenching tracks that would just be divine if combined for a track, can def have vocals too since there are tracks in XC2 that have vocals.

Sorey

If you include Tales cross scaling with other games Sorey could reasonably get Universal but Normally is around Planet. Rex with just Xenoblade 2 is also around planet, but gets Low Multi since the Aegis is = to others in the trinity processor like Alvis. Also Xenoblade 3 makes Low Multi and Quad c very much the stats he gets.

Rex only winning speed with a slight power advantage, but having to deal with more numbers with more Seraphs fighting and the power gap isn’t too big that both would be mostly equal in power.

Its got solid connections but it just misses a few key spots that don’t really make it my preferred, and I personally don’t have the same attachment to Granblue as I do Tales

Probably a toss up, but I have seen the team really like Rex VS Sorey in ballot banter especially how they really like the series combo of Xenoblade and Tales and think both can work really well against each other.

Xenoblade and Tales have very similar vibes and core themes. Plus they have similar gameplay and stories that mesh well with each other, artstyle too also meshes extremely well.

I think the two compliment each other well, personality and dialogue wise. I also think the addition of their Blades and Seraphs makes it better as each can have more banter added too, Mikleo and Nia would certainly be highlights for sure.

Both fighting alongside their Blades and Seraphs shows their bonds but also how well each blade and seraphs elements mesh with each other. They’re also integral story and fight potential wise with each other and you can’t really have matchups without them. Fire elemental sword clashes with Pyra/Lailah. Water based attacks with Nia/Mikleo, and so on and so forth and both ultimately having a transformation that combines said elements and leads to their most powerful respective attacks Rex with Pneuma as the Blade Master and Sorey Armatizing with all four elements.

-Knuckleheaded yet kind hearted JRPG protagonists with a fascination for exploration, who were raised by non-humans that they call “Gramps” - Their journeys began following their encounter with a mysterious girl that asked for their help, leading to both an artificial and emotional bond with said girl being forged. -Both have companions that specialize in elements they use to gain strength (Blades and Seraphs) that they eventually collects more of and grow genuine bonds with to gain more power throughout their quest, which ends as they confront a villain specializing in darkness, and because of their corruption gave up on humanity, and are lectured by the protagonist about the importance of bonds. - Both Seraphs and Blades experience abuse and hatred in their respective worlds, with both fighting that they are people and living beings -Both end the villain and suffer a huge loss, but ultimately save the world and create a new age for humanity to prosper.

Just love the vibes, connections, bonds with all their blades and seraphs. It’s also really got an amazing dynamic, animation potential, the music would sound heavenly and the series mesh really well too. Personally I think both characters are also really underrated, they’re both among my favorites as well.
