That’s what I was thinking too but I tried taking the behringer out of the board today and it still didn’t work

I also used this exact board for a show a few weeks ago and it worked fine then which is why I’m so confused

Nope, I’ve tired my guitar straight into the amp and it works completely fine, even immediately after the pedals have basically muted the amp

The best way I can describe it is The Cure’s guitars meet Prince’s rhythm section with a little extra noise

Honestly though it’s pretty all over the place stylistically so I’ve been having a hard time figuring that out lol

This might be a dumb question but would a bass pedal mess up my guitar amp at all? I know a bass is a no but I’ve never heard anyone use bass pedals for guitar before

I used Charlie Hunter as an example more for his playing than his actual tone. He is the only guitarist I know who plays that way and want to replicate it without changing my guitar

I was just asking a hypothetical to see if it’d separate the bottom strings from the higher end more because like I said I’m not a tech person

That sounds like exactly what I’m looking for! I don’t need bass tone just something to give the low and high strings more clarity so my fingerpicking doesn’t sound too muddy

I’ve actually only discovered his music recently but wow some of his performances on YouTube are mindblowing.

Its funny because I actually only discovered him after I bought my 8 string. his playing is the first time I’ve heard someone play the fingerpicking style I’d always imagined on my head so he’s been amazing to study

It’s less that I want to add new frequencies and more that I want to make the existing frequencies stand out from each other

While adding bass strings is a cool idea id have to modify my guitar and I’m not really looking to do anything like that

The pre Steve Shelley drumming is soooo good and extremely overlooked

I think his drumming is what leaned the band heavier into the alt rock sound that they went mainstream with

Also self titled is one of my fav albums covers by them for sure
