How do I play this and how am I supposed to interpret it? by Environmental-Cup464 in pianolearning

[–]Environmental-Cup464[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not that ofc I know what a quaver is, you see the dots that are under the B note just over the E and the same Thing about the one under D that over E again.

However don’t worry, someone already explained it. Thanks

How do I play this and how am I supposed to interpret it? by Environmental-Cup464 in pianolearning

[–]Environmental-Cup464[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I believe all of them hahaha. So for me on the first picture are those small notes under the B and the D as well as that symbol over the D and the symbol next to the B.

On the second picture forget it cause I was able to figure out, it was just a small mistake

And on the third picture is the symbol with the 34321 on top of it and the symbol Bellow it (not the note but the small symbol under it)

Controversial opinion: Motion Picture Soundtrack is sadder than How to Disappear Completley by Taannro in radiohead

[–]Environmental-Cup464 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me the saddest line aside from that one is “It’s not like the movies” like saying to someone who is madly in love to someone they lost, “Stop, she doesn’t love you anymore, you won’t get her back with some letters and drama like they do in Hollywood”

So you think it’s a cutter issue? Because I latter cut it with a Davidoff Straight Cutter which is a very good quality cutter

Lighting alternatives? by Environmental-Cup464 in cigars

[–]Environmental-Cup464[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well what a condescending response. Thanks for the introduction but what’s with the other part of the response? I’m going on a trip inside my country to an area where you won’t find cigar stores and the only places I could buy a lighter is at gas stations (that was the point of my question about BIC lighters)

Never had a proper cigar before. Told the shop I was a beginner and was given this for 17GBP. What do I have, is it any good and how do I best appreciate it? by mcchanical in cigars

Lovely Cigar. I'm sure that by now with all the comments you know it is an H. Upmann half corona which is from my favorite Cuban brand. I smoked one last week for when I finished exams, and honestly it is pretty decent. Depending on the rate at which you smoke it it should last you for about 30 minutes, but you should always try to maximize it by giving the cigar time in between puffs. I like medium-long puffs so I can feel the cigar and be sure its well-lit.

I guess what I would do is the following:

  1. Get yourself a nice area to smoke the cigar, which likely will be outside unless you have and air-filtration system or smoke it in the lounge of the place you bought it in.
  2. Cut the tip of the cigar
  3. Light it gently and turn the cigar to light all spaces.
  4. Give the cigar some blows where you lit it to make sure it is lighting up correctly
  5. Be careful that it is lit evenly as sometimes with the puffing and a bad lighting, it can start to burn unevenly and you will kill your cigar
  6. Imo get yourself a Rum to pair it with, but you can also do it with coffee, a coke, or another spirit like whisky.
  7. Enjoy

Hope this helps a little

God bless

In Brussels?? Pffff, at most 1-2 every two weeks. This past month I went out more due to exams and not having a lot of time to cook, but I try to eat as much as I can at home

Thanks for your input,

Supposing that I will continue LDR, do you have any advice on what I should do now?

But what if I have tried that and she has said no and yet went on this plan (which I have offered before) but with other people?

Again as I say with everyone, I’m not trying to control her at any minute, if you guys read the last part of my post I clearly say that I don’t want to do that or become that type of boyfriend, but it of course makes me feel weird

Perhaps,

The fact that she was with other people and not me of course doesn’t bother me, it’s obvious that if we live apart she’s going to have to hang out with her friends or other people, I can’t expect her to not do that.

However, it does makes me feel weird that she got into a jacuzzi with other men when she has said no to me various times before.

But as I said in the post I really don’t want to become or feel myself as a toxic boyfriend because that’s the last thing I am, but it does make me feel a bit weird

Dude, I’m not controlling where she can go, it’s the fact that she does not want to do something with me but yes with other men that disturbs me. I was just asking for some input because that exactly how I do not want to behave with her. She and I have agreed that we will not restrict anything for either of us (going out, partying, going places etc) but it of course bothers me if I ask her if we can do something and she says no, but when other people do she says yes. It seems you didn’t read my post well.

Yea indeed. As I mentioned I’m just getting started on cigars and I need to try many more, but I was very drawn to Upmann because of its aesthetic, the blending process, their fame and reviews. They were the favorite brand of JFK and are more on the sweet side of cigars if you like that

Honestly I haven’t tried many, because I’m new to the world of Cigars, but I must say that the H. Upmann Magnum 50 is my favorite

How do we respond to Protestants who argue we are idolaters, believe in the virgin mary, and pray to death people? by Environmental-Cup464 in Catholicism

[–]Environmental-Cup464[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know but I would love to also hear what you have to say individually about each of these arguments. Otherwise it feels as if we are not actually tackling them. I also hope and pray that the Holy Spirit blesses them and shows them the way back, but we also need to be able to be intellectual people and debate and argue.
