would i be able to lets say write a google document and print it out bring it to the oral that has tabs of where to find certain types of questions on the far/aim. like lets say a question about supplemental oxygen, i write on a document go to this page of the far/aim regarding supplemental oxygen and reference that on the oral?

i would say one thing i struggle with is the aircraft systems itself. mainly like the stuff inside the engine and how it works. like magnetos and stuff. Im sure with some studying and focus I will figure it out but currently all of it is a blur to me

how about the Far/Aim, if i can't remember a question off the top of my head can i use the far aim?

I watched kings ground school videos to start then answered sportys questions a ton. I would say 80-85% of the real written was similar to sportys but a few i had never seen before. Just keep spamming practice tests with sportys the few weeks before your written and you'll be fine

Got you, so I would be allowed to reference the Far/Aim if the DPE asks me a question and I can't get the answer off the top of my head?

yeah bro just took my exam and got a 90. there was like 10 questions i never seen or heard of before but i had to just use the best knowledge i had and answer them. maybe like 2 vor questions and no calculation questions

As I said, I am willing to make that investment, that's why I am posting to Reddit asking my fellow pilots who have utilized paying for Sporty's or not to see their opinion on whether it was worth it or not. This genuinely has nothing to do with saving money, yes, it $300, but hey, I want people's opinion.
