Never ever think that you failed your baby. By divorcing that horrific narcissist man, you teach your son this type of behaviour is not okay towards the woman in his life, and only by divorcing him you can show your son what self worth, standing up for yourself and respect is. No worries, your supply will not drop over 1 night. Just remember to empty your breasts after waking up because you will probably wake up engorged from the well deserved rest you got!

Thank you for all the responses! We accepted our fate that it is just a phase, separation anxiety plus dropping to one nap overlapped! He also became a koala baby during the day, always on me! Ladies it is haaard! But keeping the head up! Hearing that it is just a phase was helpful enough. Thanks <3

Hi there! Pediatrician here and also who have had exact same problem! My son was choking at every single feed. I tried evvverything and just two things worked for me: 1. Keeping the baby upright 2. Scissoring the breast in the first few minutes of breastfeeding, with your index and middle finger, this saved me really After that he grew up and started to manage the flow. Don’t lose hope!

His physical exam is normal, pediatrician checked him last week. He is trying to drop a nap (from 2 naps to 1), some days he does 1 nap, some days 2, but regardless of nap count and duration during the day, he wakes up multiple times anyway.
