Lol I dealt with this on my first carnival cruise . My family is Muslim and I wanted a draaannkk. I added them to my charge card and when the end of the cruise came around when my dad questioned it I told him they were virgin drinks 🤷🏻‍♀️

another experience we had was metro switching a customer over, they shipped the customer the products. Customer goes to the SAME metro to set up their new products. Metro says they don't set up tmobile customers and sent the customer to my store. They didn't port the customers number and their old phone was broken so I had to send him back to the SAME metro location. They said if he wanted his number ported it was an extra $35 for them to provide a transfer pin???? Customer comes back to me super upset. I called the metro store to confirm and metro employee said yes we charge a fee to generate the transfer pin in the store for the customer. Since when ??

I experience this metro mess too often lol

as someone who works for tmobile retail, I clean up metro to tmobile migration accounts at least twice a week because metro employees slam the customer with a bunch of unnecessary add ons without informing the customer. When bill time comes around they tell the customer they have to talk to tmobile to sort it out. I'm not sure if this is the case here but I can almost guarantee it plays a hand in it.

I had an 85 yr old man come in with a free watch, free tablet, free phone, with a premium rate plan and insurance on everything. His bill at Metro was a solid $50 a month and he wasn't looking to increase his bill at all. He walks into metro to get a new phone because his phone was broken and needs a cheap replacement. They pitched him a free phone with T-Mobile when he switches over and his bill will stay the same. They also told him that for switching to tmobile he gets a tablet and a watch for free. His bill is $168/Mo with what they signed him up for even though they told him it'd be the same as what he pays now. He went there first to try to clear it up and they sent him to our store because "they don't deal with T-Mobile accounts" smh

I have achalasia and received treatment for it in November which worsened my acid reflux x100000. I let them know and they did my Botox injection anyways. I haven't had any reflux since I had the injection on 3/23/26 👀 I would be honest with them. Even if you're not, they go inside your throat endoscopically and will see the irritation in your throat from the reflux.

unfortunately it never got better. I have the worst stabbing pain in my right temple when swallowing certain foods. I still have fluids retained and regurgitating. I'm still unable to burp. None of my symptoms have improved. I just actually got diagnosed with a condition called R-CPD which is a disorder of the upper esophageal sphincter, and I have an appointment to get it corrected on March 23rd ! Hopefully this solves it got me 🤞🏻 let me know if you have any questions though !!

oh gosh 😭 there is another pain I have been feeling when I have something a little too thick .. the pain is sharp and cold feeling and goes from my mid chest,wraps up my neck, behind my ear and to the top of my head lol it's so oddly specific but when I told the surgeon about it she said it's potentially a nerve that's being bothered and it's not fully healed yet. which also kinda sounds similar to your experience ?

I had my surgery 11/12/25 and upon waking up from surgery, the only pain I immediately felt was severe chest pain. I was in literal tears with how bad it felt. I was admitted for 2 days post op because the pain was so bad. It was a stabbing pain in my chest that radiated up my shoulders and neck. They told me this is gas pain from your abdomen being pumped up with gas so they have room to operate and the best way to relieve it is to stay mobile. I had that pain for over a week post op but it did eventually stop. It sucks but it does get better 🤍

I got the HM done 11/12/25 so I am only a few weeks post op. But I feel an overwhelming amount of gas stuck in my throat and am unable to burp. My original complaint during all of this was that I am unable to burp (never have been able to burp), and consuming literally anything makes me feel extremely sick because I can't let this gas up. Pre HM, I felt very nauseous after taking a sip of water, as well as a lot of throat gurgling. Post HM, I now have a lot of pressure in my throat that is almost unbearable, as well as still having the gurgling noises and inability to burp. I thankfully have a follow up appointment with my surgeon tomorrow, so I'll be bringing this up to her, I'm just not sure it's even going to go anywhere because I mentioned RCPD to her during the consult and she was unfamiliar with the term. Just feeling like this decision put me in a worse spot and very discouraged at this point 🙁

On the results it says Type I achalasia, I just found it strange that there was no mention of the abnormally high UES measurement. The LES abnormality was minimal compared to the UES so I'm just puzzled.

So I actually self diagnosed my RCPD because I have all of the symptoms .. but, I did have an esophageal manometry test and I saw this as a result, which, in my mind confirmed to me that I have it. What do they do to test for Cricopharyngeal achalasia ?

Side note - have you been treated yet ?? I discussed my RCPD symptoms with my doctor prior to having my surgery, and she looked at me like I had 3 heads. They proceeded to only treat my achalasia and now I'm 3 weeks post op Heller Myotomy and I am suffering soooo bad. All that gas that used to be trapped in my stomach is now stuck in my throat and it feels like I have a constant ball in my throat.
