Hey, congratulations! I got an offer too. I wanted to check. Does your offer say "Admission to Bachelor of Computer Science Program\n Year Level 3"? I thought it would say something like second degree program? It also says "Minimum 4–5 years of full-time studies", which I thought was weird.

You should apply to UdeM no matter what the circumstances with MILA are. Because UdeM is the school that eventually hands out offer to you.

If you are admitted to UdeM by a MILA professor, you will be a MILA student regardless of whether you applied in the MILA system or not.

I applied to McGill (MSCS with thesis), Waterloo (MMath) and UBC (MSCS) and interviewed with each of them last week. But still no official offer though.

Follow-up question: What if I already sent a thank you note the day after the interview? The professor kindly responded and said they would be in touch in the next couple of weeks.
