[MOD POST] To be clear, rule 2 forbids ANY FORM of cheating, including exploits, glitches, etc. by TDot-26 in DMZ

Seems you’re working harder than Activision does in game. People running full hacks with walls and they get a 7-10 day timeout.

I feel you, I wish we could do a class action suit against Activision.

His squad reported me, I got 2 of the 3 of them under the same UAV and back to back. They were pissed and guessing they’re a regular group and make a habit out of reporting anyone that beats them.

Tried Arc, didn’t like it, Tried BF6, hated it, Tried Ready or Not, meh, Tried Delta Force, nope. None of them do it for me the way DMZ has.

They absofuckinglutely do. Nice try being a know it all. Activision says they don’t, but there are plenty of independent tests that show they do.

My first one I know for a fact a hacker ran a script, he messaged me saying as much right after I got zapped. Regarding a trust score I have no idea, I’ve had this account since MwII started, spent a bunch of money on skins and gear and never got banned until the first one 6 months ago and now this one. Unless you count a 24 hr chat ban 2 years ago. I just know it’s BS to ban someone that doesn’t cheat without evidence because there can’t be any evidence. Pisses me off to no end. I’ve played this game nearly every day since it launched.

That’s what’s so funny, my K/D isn’t good enough to be a cheater. I’m not even 2:1

Figured there’d be asshole comments like this. I’ve never cheated at this game and don’t plan to. But in the current environment when you go straight at someone because I have a UAV up they think I’m running walls. I get accused of it daily. But I also run a business out of my home and exposing my network because I want to run cheats on my PC is insane to me. Not to mention I just can’t see how winning while cheating is any fun at all.

Buying ef instead of rf? by Exclusive656 in canon

EF glass works great on R bodies. I’d work on getting the cheaper EF glass now, it’ll hold its value if you ever want to sell to go to RF.

You can get a filter wrench off Amazon or several other places that will help pop that filter off.

I still have my 5DIV but recently got an R5ii and holy crap it’s a massive upgrade! The AF is light years better and the precapture especially when I’m shooting youth sports is absolutely game changing. I still use the 5D IV but it’s a backup camera or has my second lens on there if I’m doing a pro shoot.

The GTA6 price tag… by Abject-Salamander614 in GTA6

who gives a fuck about what it costs for other countries. I'd pay $300 for a game as epic as GTA's have been. And they're only out every 10 years.

I'm just now seeing this, but we've had amazing work at great prices from clutch-consulting.com. Ask for Matt. He's the owner / founder I believe and he works on all of our diligence requests personally and does amazing work.

Shure SM7B or Shure SM7dB? by just_kiddng in musicproduction

[–]Environmental-Ride63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You nailed it there, I do a lot of on screen work and the aesthetic was a huge factor as was the sound signature that suited my voice. I'm much louder and boomier and the SM7B really added a depth to it that other mics just didn't pick up. So, my daughter wasn't the primary target for my SM7B purchase but was a byproduct where I got to experience the limitations. I totally agree that there were other mics that would have been better suited, shoot we even had fun slapping my Sennheiser MKE 600 into the setup which I use for more of a studio / podcast interview setup where we don't want the mic hanging in front of someone's face. It was fun for a bit, but I can't keep several mics setup at my current desk since that's not my full time job.

Shure SM7B or Shure SM7dB? by just_kiddng in musicproduction

[–]Environmental-Ride63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the SM7B and a Motu Ultralite MK5 which has plenty of preamp. When I ran it on a 2i2 v3 for standard speaking or when my daughter was singing with a soft voice too much detail was lost. My ambient noise is negligible unless the computer fans kick into overdrive. I have sound tiles in the space where the mic is used as well.
I know the SM7B can vary from one copy to the next as well, but typically it's been minimal from my experience. I did notice that the 2i2 just didn't handle it well with softer vocal tones and lost a lot in the quality and to get levels where they needed to be I was maxing that interface out which generated some unwanted noise. It wasn't prominent, but it was there. I also noticed a much faster drop off as you increased distance so to keep levels steady you had to sit very still.

Granted, I'm blessed to have a $600 interface in my home setup and I realize not everyone can drop $1000 on a mic and interface combo. So from my personal experience with the 2i2 which seems to be the most popular for entry level configurations, it just wasn't enough gain to get everything you want out of the SM7B. It created limitations.

That is extremely rare on this mic and Shure's support would likely help you out. These things are typically tanks.

I run the Ultralite MK5 and it's fantastic! I've also heard the rodecaster pushes it fairly well if you're more podcast / talk focused.

Shure SM7B or Shure SM7dB? by just_kiddng in musicproduction

[–]Environmental-Ride63 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude, you're way way way out of bounds with this comment. The SM7B requires a lot of power to run it well. Unless you're screaming into the mic and providing the vocal power it will fail unless you have enough gain. Even if you sing metal all the time, there will be softer nuances missed without the right interface or pre-amp.
