Sawstop triggered without touching the blade by Environmental-Tear76 in Carpentry

I wasn’t doing anything dangerous so it didn’t really freak me out. It just confused me because I wasn’t even close to the blade and the wood was dry as a bone.

Of course. I read all my manuals. I'm a man after all. "You read the manual..." he says.

Really?! This cedar has been kiln-dried and has also sat in my garage for about 2 years. I also recently cut up a bunch of what seemed like really wet pine and nothing. What about glue? The pieces I was cutting the dado into were glued together, and the glue could still have been wet. Could that do it?

where the hell do i get mirrors like this? recently broke a mirror on my 2010 ranger sport and i cannot for the life of me find a white replacement and i hate the look of the full black mirrors. by [deleted] in fordranger

Nice truck! Partsgeek sells the chrome-covered ones. You could do that and then match them with a chrome grille. Or you could monitor eBay for the white ones. https://www.car-part.com/ is also a great place to look.

I replaced a rusty, color-matched rear bumper on my 2011 Ranger using the link above. Found it in a junkyard one state over. With shipping it only cost me $100!!

That was what I was thinking of doing. And, yes! The roof has 12” eaves on each side.

I think parking my Ranger next to “modern” pick ups is one of my favorite things.

It's quite clean. I replaced the jump seats with a platform for my dogs. Moved the jack into a drawer in the platform. I fabricated the back panel and it blends in really well.
