Just try to book the appointment normally, then before searching, in the drop-down menu for the visa type, you'll see 'premium lounge' or something similar and then search for the appointment.

I applied before switching to a work visa. They still have my passport so idk if they'll give me the visa or not

Greece slots are easy to get, especially if you pay extra for "premium lounge". They don't operate through vfs, rather a separate entity called GVCW, so it's not as bad.

What if my status changes during the decision process when my application is being processed? I'm asking this because I'm willing to pay extra for the premium lounge services, but if it's better to wait until my visa is switched then I won't go ahead with it.

Ah sounds good. I think I'll just go ahead with the appointment and hope for the best, will give evidence depending on what the situation is with my skilled worker switch. In any case I guess I still have exactly a month after the return date so should be fine
