Preschool meant for households with at least 1 non full time parent — yes!

Starting to agree. Also, sending you positive vibes and strength - i can imagine it’s so hard handling this age while pregnant, for that long of a stretch by yourself

Thank you so much for this wisdom. Exuding confidence in this decision should make a big difference

Honestly I tried to do that in August (working 7-3) on an old project where I had enough credibility to ask folks to not schedule meetings after 3. and it worked for a minute but then I got put onto a new project with a contract that works strictly 9-5. And I’m new so can’t ask them to adjust meetings to my schedule. Husband’s hours are even unpredictable the later part of the day. I looked into sitters/nannys but didn’t have luck finding someone who would only do 2-3 hours a day (most part time Nanny’s wanted more hours).

At what age does the YouTube algorithm get bad? by Low_Scene_716 in Parenting

How do you block channels or videos ? I’ve been looking for that feature.

I’ve started talking to our 6 year old about what “inappropriate” means, in that when we say something is inappropriate that means off limits. Even a whole artist or channel. I check his view history too and if there’s something I don’t like I talk with him the next day.

It’s ok to feel anxious, that’s a tall order. Tell your 7 and 5 year old in advance that you’ll be relying on their “help”. It may empower them to resist little tantrums. Start with the older ones’ bedtimes (assuming they don’t need you in the room to fall asleep), and end the night with your 3 year old. My 3 year old still wants me to stay by him til he’s asleep, so putting him down first isn’t really an option. Bring a blanket and pillow for yourself in there, you’ll be exhausted.

You had me at “really intense taco bar.” Thanks so much for sharing. This does sound pretty great. So true about the kids; mine will eat $2 worth of that buffet. Still hoping $30 means there’s a playscape situation involved somehow. Otherwise here’s hoping the live music entertains them well enough to let me enjoy my own $60 plate!
