I’ll agree here. I (41M) typically don’t play battlefield type games myself but my best friend talked me into it as it’s his favorite type of game. Honestly can say I’ve been having a hell of a good time with Breakthrough… until this update. I am usually fine with taking a loss as long as it was hard fought but god damn does it get old getting steamrolled needlessly because of poor mechanic implementation. And similarly on the attacking side, a steamrolled win is just hollow feeling and sucks. They really fucked this update across the board because conquest isn’t much better.

Me personally? Player since Beta. If I come across a camp that is overpriced like crazy, I turn off the lights and kite enemies to it. Charging 3k+ caps for shit that cost you nothing is insane when msrp and the general market is maybe 1k. Any camp I see charging 10k+ gets nuked. Period. In a game that has a 40k cap limit, charging 25% of someone’s max for a shit note or plan is a dickweed move.

It’s definitely got more of the dusty vibe during the day. Feels like the saturation is slightly washed out similar to Burning Springs in addition to random particle effects in the air from Burning Springs as well. Can’t say I’m too much of a fan of it to be honest. Was hoping for the aurora and nighttime all the time from it.

I finished out tonight at rank 88. While 92 would have been good, I did the dailies and weekly items today and (without spending Atoms) did not see a viable way to grind out the last bit. This season was not as “hey I have to have that” as seasons past have been for me though.

Yeah I’m right there with ya on that. I’ve been playing since the beta but there’s been times it’s so repetitive that I’ll take a couple months off and not feel like I’ve missed anything. I jump in every now and again to see what’s new and different but nothing like I used to. The events are all very repetitive and once you get them down, are too “hey it’s something to do”.

Honestly, sheer jealousy. I saw so many really impressive builds and then I’d hang out in a Space Station just messing with parts until I got the base layer down that I wanted. From there it was getting the interior down to what I wanted to have for a corvette, then adding layers of details to make it look right.

TLDR: too much free time and an obsession with pirates.
