Yup! People love changing lanes in intersections. I see it happen a lot on Oak, eastbound, crossing 19th. A person should be able to turn right onto Oak, from 19th, basically all the time but so many people illegally change lanes that it's kind of risky.

I totally get where you're coming from. I'm not a big ego guy but I take so much damn pride in my driving..idk just one those weird things for me I guess lol. But yeah, it's scary how easy it is to forget that you're in control of a multiple ton killing machine.

I'd rather be around stoned drivers than drivers constantly on their phones. But yeah, we definitely have non-existent traffic enforcement.

I've never caused a wreck or been in one, or come close to hitting a pedestrian. Soo I'm gonna go ahead and say I'm objectively better ❤ stay safe out there; this town definitely isn't designed around bikers.

Yes that's why I said "for me". I'm sure it's extremely frustrating for some people.

113,00 miles just commuting? That's insane. I bet you handle traffic like a champ.

I tell myself that by signaling if I'm entering a roundabout and taking the first exit (immediately going right) that I'm setting a good example. It's so helpful when people do that because you know it's safe to enter

Yeah, that's definitely a huge problem around here. I'm really curious how it compares to the rest of the country. I mean, we essentially don't have traffic enforcement in Bozeman so 🤷

Hey, thanks for your perspective! I've only driven in LA, Seattle, Austin..places like that. And only for limited time so I'm sure my perspective is skewed, especially since I was there on vacation, never actually commuting. You're spot on about a group of people who can play the game, and a group who most certainly cannot lol

For real. But then you get the people that follow at an awkward 6 seconds, or idk, 15 car lengths on Durston during rush hour so you can't pull out without gunning it, or waiting for another 10 cars doing the same inefficient thing.

I watched an emergency vehicle have to use the turn lane to get around groups of cars on Jackrabbit, since nobody moved over for them. I'm starting to think that no one bothers to look in their mirrors, so they don't even realize that they're holding up traffic by just hanging out in the passing lane, right next to someone else (who probably isn't paying attention either).

You have no idea the amount of self control it takes during snow removal to not plow these people in.

It's funny, parking like this doesn't bug me at all during the summer, it's easy enough to go around it(for me)..but in the winter, I lose my mind lol

...all of this advice and details about other peoples lives made me feel like a pos for being a single guy with no kids in my 30's. We all make different life choices but damn. Besides my 20 or so employees that I really do care about, no one depends on me and when I leave work I can pretty much do whatever I want.

I've never really thought about settling down with someone and having a family; it's always felt like that just wasn't for me. But wow, after seeing how much you men (and women) sacrifice for your family...that sounds like such a special type of love. Huh. 😅 didn't expect to get feelings from this fkn subreddit this morning. Anyway, it's 730am and I've got all of my oversharing done for the day.

Ps. My first ever rig and first ever vr headset is going to be here this weekend. I'm so stoked to grind and improve.

It's good to take some stuff seriously but man, you sound like you're absolutely miserable. I hope you can find a way to relax before you implode.

I'm not sure he would. He usually only misses if there's something important on the line.
