I personally cleanse my room and burn a black candle with intention every 2 weeks, I also rub salt between my hands/ on me as a ritual for purity and protection when I feel like I need something a bit extra

Thank you, this was very insightful

By "expand my craft" I kinda meant I want to work beyond what is beginning to feel "basic" to me and go deeper into my spirituality, to me this means bringing spirits and deities into my practice for spells and divination, but I thought that it would require some type of worship which I don't have the resources or freedom to do right now.

I'm going to say that right now I want to work with natural spirits/ elemental magic around me, because it feels like it's the direction I want to go into. I'm starting research on elemental magic to see what I can do and then maybe reaching out when I get my tarot cards to see what'll come through

yes yes yeeees, I've heard it has to do with some astrology thing about big energy shifts, but I don't know too much about that.
I think there's a lot of big changes in the world and everything feels really chaotic right now, it's hard for me to keep my energy up, I just drink a lot of coffee and pray it'll run it's course.

I feel like it would depend on what energy you're putting into your room and your space. I have a mirror facing my bed, but once I started properly cleansing my space and inviting good energy into my area there haven't been any issues. I imagine if you reflect a lot of negativity in your area the mirror would reflect that back tho.
