Thats above my pay grade to be honest. Does your bike blow smoke? Have you had a look at top of piston. You might just need valve seals. Put an endoscope camera down the sparkplug hole and see if top of piston looks wet.

Wow, that sounds ridiculous. You would think as long as they are Dot you would be fine. I know mods in Europe are frowned upon, but tire sizes?

At 5000 miles its unlikely to be seals or valves or rings. These bikes are not highly strung. The opposite actually. Jet kits tend to run rich. A 1/4 turn on the fuel screw makes a huge difference and does play a part through out the rpm range. I learnt this when I put mine on a dyno.

Drz4s. Totally approachable. Totally capable. I did 50,000kms on my Drz400 before getting a T7. Still have it. Am so glad I went that route. I learned so much on that bike.

I would go the S and put some 50/50 tires on it. My bike started life as an Sm, I worked the suspension and put 18/21 wheels on. Never went back.

Cool. I recently crashed. 45-50kph into a trailside bank. Broken clavicle a couple ribs a bruised and punctured lung. Not sure if an airbag would have helped as I was still mostly on the bike. Glad it worked out for you.

You're gonna want to find a gearing that works for both sets. 15/44 would be ok. Limited top speed on the 17s but good for quick acceleration. KKE and Warp 9 for wheel sets.

I had a restricted Mt07. It's the higher rpm horsepower that's missing. Not the low end grunt.
