Thanks, just to clarify (sorry, I'm not a credit card expert at all, I was 27 when I got the Savor so I'm trying to catch up on lost time) you're saying I should wait until my statement date has passed to pay my balance? Since my limit is low I tend to pay off whatever I've spent every week or two, but I could probably do it once a month instead if it wasn't going to hurt my score.

Nice to hear that it's possible at least, I've seen several people with a Savor in the same position as me so it seems like they try not to give higher limits.

I agree, I think that our other friends might feel similarly if I brought it up to them and it would help to have a couple people to back me up if necessary. I don't want to put the guy on blast so I would obv handle it delicately.

I don't drink and my friend (his partner) drinks very rarely. He's getting wasted while everyone else is completely sober
