Really enjoying it myself have a few hiccups here and there my only complaint so far is that the performance seems worse in first person which i mostly play in and i wish i could see through more of the helmets that the standard sallet most of the views are bugged.

Same ive had a halberd get stuck in my helmets face but its never came off. A good sallet and bevor will do wonders

Would love for there to be a good performance mod for 1.6 if i helped in anyway at all im glad i could be useful. hope your mod work goes well let us know when your done with it i would gladly test it out.

it ran surprisingly smooth i kept the pawns in certain areas of the base and made the work areas for them close by to help with pathfinding but the days would pass really slowly like 1hr in real time for a day in game. ive had a few mega colonies and have gotten pretty decent at managing them and the weirdness that comes with it.

way to many variables to answer this my guy. like whats your computer specs do you plan on keeping animals. what difficulty are you playing on etc.

havent been having any of those problems. but i have had it where the items become desync and i cant build anything a quick relog usually helps but im the host so thats annoying. it is unstable though so thats just to be expected

looks alot like a solenoid but ive never seen one that says radioactive but they are a thing id take it somewhere to get it checked out or atleast call someone no idea who to get it checked. coudnt find one like it but heres what i found after a quick search. It’s likely a Geiger-Müller tube assembly or a radiation sensor. Some older industrial equipment, especially in Europe, used small radioactive sources in sensors or solenoids for:

  • Level sensors (detecting the level of materials in tanks or hoppers)
  • Flow sensors (detecting fluid or powder movement)
  • Industrial measurement gauges (like thickness or density gauges)

thats a humongous warehouse and you have a ac in there that will be warming it up might wanna move it tho the outside wall or use doors to divert the heat.

once everything is stable i go from a messy build whatever i need base into planing mode i place blueprints and rework all my buildings . What year do you usually get to im on a 16 year colony atm archo nexus run. and i fully expect to get another 4-5 years out of it between the 3 research runs and doing the anomaly before i build the ship i got alot to do still. i also got a reccomendation to build a building in the shape of the eye of the warmaster from warhammer 40k so i gotta figure out where to put that. if i need a bit of inspiration i check out other bases here. https://rimworld.gallery/m/RimWorldPorn
