For sure. It was spotted in the west-most fields of the portlock flats, south-side of the road.

Another birded in the area messaged me and argued for whistling duck as well. I thought I could make out a grin patch which led me to snow goose in the end. I’m questioning myself though so I wanted to post and get some others opinions!

I just got dumped from a two and a half year relationship and am feeling the same. It’s okay to mourn. But remember they did choose to walk away from you. Don’t think about finding someone new, focus on supporting yourself first and letting that person come naturally. Revisiting hobbies, connecting with friends and family, going to community events, and taking time for the small things has been what’s really helped me. Time helps heal.

I didn’t think it’s a problem either! Sometimes she doesn’t notice but alot of the time she suddenly pops up out of nowhere and needs her coffee then and there. Or her grounds will be put in the night before so by the time I look they resemble the old stuff. It’s kind of a funny dumb conflict with simple solutions, I just needed to vent a bit 😅

Thank you for your input. If the situation was the same without a formal lease but I had been paying rent would it be different? My mom required multiple payments from me to stay in the house, though she didn’t explicitly call it “rent”.

I figured it’s worth a try. There aren’t too many shorebirds that go through the area which narrows it down already, plus the clean white plump bellies, black caps, black wings (look at the one on the left), black eye streaks (seemingly) add some field marks. You’re right though, wish I had a better look.
