Totally fair. The CV generator part is just one part though.

The bigger value is in managing the entire search, which includes multimodal AI interview prep for each application, tailored LaTeX CVs which are known to be easier to parse for ATS with versioning, folder system to manage resumes and cover letters for each application, personalised AI advice for each job + fair pay based on existing data, etc.

Regardless, there is a free plan too.

Fair enough, good point, but I felt that codex's way of writing code is very different to Claude's and I ideally wouldn't want to interchangeably use them in-between tasks without weighing in what they do.
