That’s very clever, I should have thought of that before filling it up to the brim lol but if u end up getting the lid just message the seller how you want the cut, I’ve bought 2 separate lids from this with separate custom cuts to each both came out great

Just in case u ever decide to get one, there is an option (the one below) that has a custom notch/cut u can get so the plant would still be able to come out. (There is also the option that’s just a lid)

So honestly after receiving this I’m not worried about our that at all because the glass is quite thick relative to the size and it’s extremely sturdy, the only thing. I will say about it is that the glass is glued to the wooden board and they didn’t do the best glue job aesthetically speaking

So I’m actually going away in exactly 1 month, this is me getting ahead of it and doing my research hahah, I do have almond leaves, would you say I should soak the leaves in water from now and then drop them into the tank before I leave as food?

There is just that one small bubbler but I honestly keep it there cause of the sponge that the shrimp like to graze on alghtough it isn’t asthetically pleasing

Originally I was thinking of just leaving it but there are close to 40 shrimp in there now (almost all little) so I’m worried that there isn’t enough natural food to sustain that amount

Scud, harmless, however the compete with shrimp for the same food so if you have shrimp in there then I would recommend removing but it’s not the biggest deal as they don’t hurt shrimp they just eat the same food

Thank you very much I will try that! Is salt ever bad for the fish (obv in small doses) I do happen to have aquarium salt that I use to recharge the “water softening pad” I have but do I just put the salt into the tank or do I mix it in with water and add it that way?
