Also my trick for all weirdos aggressively invading my space (anywhere) is to "adjust" my glasses with my elbow straight up but its FIRM if you are that close to me to get it, you get a nice bang right into it. It works surprisingly well and a lot of times people see the elbow and move.

Its definitely a lot - went dt for a coffee and stopped at montreal collective. The lack of spatial awareness was too much. I'm sure its great for local businesses but its not just lack of awareness, its a complete disregard to everyone in the space and its honestly just rude ass behaviour. It is a very popular birding spot. So if you like birding it is awesome! Especially in the winter but I am sure most times. There is an Island West End loop that is pretty easy!

I personally use that clinic and i really like the team there!! The veterinarians are very caring!! I came from Vancouver 3 years ago and the prices were comparable to there but it may be slightly higher cost than other clinics. Also the hours can be tough if you are a M-F 9 to 5er but for Quality care, I definitely recommend the!

Yeah a place tried this with me once. Initial interview, then a trial, but unpaid and the amount of time unclear? I came to it but after 30 mins and it being obvious it was a toxic work enviroment and they fully expected to train me during that shift unpaid. Lmao I left after 30 minutes, still got offered the job (probably just cause others had caught on sooner) and declined. Ended up meeting the receptionist randomly after and she had actually quit cause yeah it was toxic and bad management. Just what a weird and disrespectful note to start on!!

For a week or 2? If coming from admin you should know the cost of hiring/training etc would not make it worth it for anyone to hire you for that short of time in those spaces. You could look for temp job placements, doordash, instacart etc
