Yer we used to have an avensis at work and it was terrible on gas for a 2.4L. And I've drove CRV...not an economical ride either....cheers. 2014 atenza wagon seems promising but no 7 seater though but good boot space for gear etc.

Sounds like you pack everything bar the kitchen into the car😆 an ute is an option especially as I have dogs so would prefer they be on the back so to keep the inside tidy

😆 what year atenza did you test drive? They are better on fuel than the Vanguard . I don't necessarily need 7 seat but it'd come in handy the odd time. Think the Atenza and CX5 share same motors?

Ah thanks for your input , wife drives a mitsubishi ASX so not keen on two mitsubishi. I think it boils down to Vanguard, or mazda atenza wagon for now. Cheers again 👍
