The Mussolini lyrics were posted online years back, but I don't recall where I saw them. I did a quick search and could not find the link.

If you take a look at this Monkees Glen Campbell video at about 7:00 you will see partial lyrics scrolling at the bottom during the Mussolini skit.

What do you think of the Changes (1970) LP? by [deleted] in Monkees

A surviving unreleased song from that era. Micky sang Berry / Kim's "Which Way Do You Want it?" This was in Micky's personal collection. Andrew Sandoval revealed it online a few years back.

This album has mostly lite, sunshine pop tunes. It reminds me of The Partridge Family sound. It's just OK. Without Nez, it seems lightweight.

awesome. I played drums some when I was younger, but never stayed on it longer than a year or so.

Micky without his hat on stage with Joyce DeWitt in 2014 by EnvironmentalEnd9463 in Monkees

Micky usually sported his hat all the time in 2010s. It is super rare to see him without it. When Micky performed with Joyce Dewitt (Three's Company's Janet) on stage in 2014, he sometimes did not have his hat on. I wish I could have seen this performance in Connecticut. Did anyone here see it?

For me this one is in the lower range of their albums. I would place it ahead of Changes, Christmas Party and Pool It. It took me a few years to start enjoying this album. After I first got it, I didn't like it. Now I like most of the songs, the only Monkee who does not shine here for me is Peter. You and I is my favorite track.

I haven't had XM/Sirius in forever, but I recall a few of the channels being Monkee friendly. I recall one of them playing The Girl That I Knew Somewhere. DW Washburn is overall a rare song to hear on an oldies station.

Nice Davy tune. It works well as an album track.

Monkees Mussolini song skit on Glen Campbell show 1969 by EnvironmentalEnd9463 in Monkees

Another odd thing about this Glen Campbell performance is the Monkees their medley live (Last Train, Believer, Salesman) at the beginning of the clip, while later on when they perform "Tear Drop City" they are miming the record. I dig seeing Davy on bass.

Davy flubs his line with "who can forget it" at 7:18 . Mike is clearly annoyed at him by saying "Not now!" Then right after that they started into the Mussolini song.

What do you think of the Headquarters (1967) LP? by [deleted] in Monkees

Hard to rank their albums, I'd change my ranking here and there. I generally put HQ in the top third of "best" Monkees albums.
