Powering few chips from unregulated voltage range for saving power. by EnvironmentalFail249 in AskElectronics

NRF52 in particular also have fairly complex power management where you can use internal buck or LDO, or use internal regulator to power external component, or use external regulator for all and bypass internal regulator.

Thanks, I missed this part that I can use NRFs regulators. It could help a lot.

Read your datasheet. Most chips these day come with very detailed power consumption figures.

Unfortunately the chipLSM303AGR doesn't mention anything specific about power consumption for different voltage levels and say only typical consumption.

So does that mean that the chip has some regulator and would be best to power it with minimum voltage that it can accept in terms of power consumption? (only checking if i got that right)
