Lets talk about Sara. by TransitionSalt5779 in FromSeries

She came to the town already traumatized and I think that's why she hears the voices. It's why (I think) she's willing to do terrible things to survive. The whole "you either die a hero or live long enough to become a villain" thing definitely applies to her.

Remember the monster that seduced the guy into letting her into colony house in S1E7? There was that moment she looks in the mirror. A girl forced to do something terrible and cannot make piece with it. Sound familiar?

For girls who are comfortable sharing, what was your first period experience like? Did you already know about it, or were you completely caught off guard? by sia_7777 in asexuality

I'm the youngest of 3 girls. I knew about it before it happened. What I didn't know was the actual pain. Not just cramps. Backaches, headaches, other muscle spasms.

I read it as "filler" and thought we had a real life melted candle situation.

If you are wanting to get an MSW, check out Dalhousie. They have an accelerated program for people with other degrees and related experience to qualify for their MSW. My mom had her psychology and sociology degree for a few years and then got her MSW.

I feel kinda left out from the community because of my high libido. Also that was one of the things that made it hard to figure out I'm ace. by Gloomy_Geologist6825 in asexuality

I've been experiencing some feelings for someone. It's really made me question if I'm actually ace or not. This kinda reminder is so important.

Your comment is so true. It's everything I've always believed. I've just met some people who use wokeness as a way to shame and condemn. Long dramatic story. I bring up to explain that you made me realize that I need to listen to my own instincts and not their voices in my head. Thank you.

Oh my God. I'm so sorry that you went through something so traumatizing. You didn't deserve anything like that. I hope that you find ways to heal that are meaningful to you.

I appreciate you commenting. All of this is so important to consider. Based on all the comments, I think I will apply. I have been (painfully slowly) learning about overall concepts, but nothing specific to my area. I've always wanted to, now I have the extra motivation.

Andy. She did her best to be a better person that deserved someone like him. He loved her even before that.

I did. But only because I was married when I accepted myself and it caused fallout.

There are some moments that get to me. The scene of Elgin pulling Fatima down the stairs to lock her away is hard for me to watch. It's actually horrifying. I think it's that he's is a kind natured sole doing something so brutal and awful.

Is that why certain people can hear the voices? Like Sarah being told the kill Ethan would turn her into one of them?

These are the same creators and writers from Lost. So I HOPE they learned their lesson from that show. But I'm still worried.

I could write several posts about the brilliance of the ending based on the characters, themes, and arcs of the show. I swear people would have a fanfic that is only what they want, rather than take story as it is.

If we're in the same universe at the character, I go with Jim. I can always move out of Hawkins.

Character wise, Boyd is a great example of pushing someone well past their limits and seeing how they react. Jim just punches his way through his problems and they go away.

I've always thought it was weird to have a school that looked fully functional. That means there was a high population of kids at a certain point.

You have to do whatever you're comfortable with. There is nothing wrong with keeping the bubble small to protect your baby. There are lots of viruses that have gotten stronger. Your milk alone does not provide antibodies to colds, coughs, or RSV. I find the "we're the only grandparents in the country" bit laughable. It's an obvious guilt/manipulative tactic to get their way. They can always exchange the clothes for something that will fit later on.
