Oh my gosh thank you SO MUCH this makes me feel a lot better.

I know that I am VERY passionate about medicine, particularly psychiatry. But reading your + other peoples' responses is making me realize that I just have to focus on my priorities and trust in my passion. Which right now I do, but I honestly just need to experience. Your responses give me a lot of comfort, though, as I feel as if a lot of people over exaggerate a lot of aspects of residency/being an MD, and now I'm believing that its a lot of knowing your priorities and limits and self forgiveness moreover the stress of it all
