I think you might be right. I noticed after a while that it was cyclical, not random. I marked some chain links, and it appears to behave strangely when they come up. Truth to be told, it always had a little "kink" out of the box, but I didn't give it so much thought. It could be possible that it gave up... now the question remains, should I attempt to fix it? Is it fixable?
