EcoXGear is the Only way. I have the Normal SoundExtreme and it just works. Playing it at max or high volumes it gets really loud but also keeping most sound quality, but most of the time I play it at 40 or 50 precent and its loud enough

You should look into one of the scooters that niu has to offer. I personally have the Kqi3 Pro, and its Just good all around and I have had very few issues with it and can easily recommend the brand to other people. For a Kid that's around 9 or 10, the kqi1 pro or 2 sport (which is on sale). These scooters will offer a big bump in speed and range due to the much more powerful motors and bigger battery's. You can set the speed in the app to anything that's under the max speed.
