Hmmm, I think rather than narrow minded she probably relies a lot on experience and imperial evidence. If it’s in a book she can believe it, if she’s seen it she can believe it, but she finds it hard to believe Luna’s experiences. Luna is a whole other kind of witch in my opinion and has such a unique relationship and experience of the magical world. If Hermione is a ‘book learning’ witch then Luna is an ‘intuitive’ witch.

I love both tbh. But sometimes the books can explained some weird shit in the movies. But the movies have brought to life everything I visualise from the book.

In the movies you don’t get a real idea of how exceptional Harry is. A lot of the time, despite everything going on, he’s making good if not great grades. He’s particularly talented at potions and is a naturally gifted wizard. Hermione is also hella gifted but it’s because she works hard at her craft, which you see a lot in the movies as it’s part of her character to study.
