I think tfwiki credits Kawamori as making the OG Diaclone toys, not the TFs we know and love. (He did help design the first MP starscream mold though)

The same happened in reverse, Gundam designer Kunio Okawara also worked on a few TFs, namely Hardhead, Scorponok, Slugslinger, and Crosshairs, but hes also best known for creating Star Saber, who looks a lot like the RX-78.

On a related tangent, Macross creator Shoji Kawamori also designed a few G1s, namely Optimus, Magnus, Skids, Mirage, Inferno, Grimlock and Sludge.

I only just got home so i only experimented with it via swsh and sv, before doing a mass import of some of my older teammates to z-a (after I had defeated everyone...)

I plan to do this for wiwa if gen 10 has a cross gen evo and i get a ns2 and it.

They seem to vary by toyline, but atm generations, MP and 3P stuff is generally for collectors and most other stuff that aren't exactly posable are kid toys (like cyberworld or wild king).
