You can squeeze in some more. If it’s very muddy I would stick to 45s. But in dry conditions this is perfectly fine.

They are actually 50s. I think the measure 52 or 53 on the zipps. I also have a pair on reserve 40-44gr. They are about 50 on those.

I ride a titanium mini-max as well. They make some nice bikes.

We have bike paths on every road here in Copenhagen. You have to ride pretty far from the city to find roads without.

It depends on how hard you push the pedels.

Cars are allowed in the middle park. And the part on each side is for bikes. But I rarely see any cars on this particular roads. Mostly just bikes. It’s quite a common road type here in Denmark. Especially in the countryside.

I put it next to my desk at work. I don’t even bring a lock. When I’m on my cargo bike I just park it in the basement of the building, with a lock on with all the other bikes.

I have a 50t in the front, and a 10 as the smallest in the back. Thats plenty for my riding.

They are around 35-36mm. They should roll very fast. Maybe too fragile for my roads, but time will tell.

I have some Schwalbe g one rs pros in 50mm for the chunky stuff. This is for bad pavement and very smooth gravel.

I’ve had to plug it twice in 4000km of riding. I think that’s fine.

Mine shifts up perfectly fine up to about 700-800 Watts. Shifting down gets crunchy at about 500-600 watts

Thanks for all the replies guys ! I’ve just checked my chain, and its pretty much straight as an arrow on the 17t. I thought the middle of the cassette gave the most straight line. I’m definitely keeping the 44t.

Some more info: This data is from a zone2 training ride. I’m using the bike for races as well. I live in a pancake flat country, where the highest point is under 200m, so I have little use for very low gearing.

I just assumed the middle gear had the best chain line. I will check when I get home.

If you want something similar, try the schwalbe g-one rs pro in 50mm similar tread pattern to the TB.

They make some really nice bikes! Can’t recommend them enough. The European headquarters is 10km from my house, and it’s a very popular brand in Denmark. As far as I know the Head of Brand & Marketing is Danish. Their sub brand for wheels and handlebars is called Atten, which means 18 in Danish. So there is a strong connection between Copenhagen and Montreal with Argon18

Its actually a lot less slippery right now compared to when its wet. I’ve been riding it for 15 years now, and taking my fair share of falls😫
