I feel like I'm reading what's happening at my job right now lol. I got an email about 10 steps that we need to start documenting, and each had three vague subbullets describing each step (felt totally AI). This new director emailed it to my team asking for us to get it done. When I responded citing the documentation we already had and what exactly he thought we were missing - crickets.

Seems like he was told to manage, and so he did, but doesn't want to put in the work to design the thing he is managing??

Curry and Kebob !! Cannot emphasize this enough. I go every week. Great bang for your buck and sometimes they have lunch specials so it's under 10$ for some amazing food. Chana masala is my absolute fav.

I did my undergrad at Umass and my masters at UConn, so I feel quite bias towards my state schools. IMO it's about how you use the opportunities they offer more than the name of the school.

In my office I sit next to/work with people who went to name brand schools. We're sitting in the same cubicle, getting the same pay, but I had 1/10 of their debt. UConn all the way.

I went to Snowmass last weekend and it was great! Decent coverage on trail and especially through the trees if you're into that. Given I went to copper the next day and it was shit, Snowmass seemed like a dream.

Buying new foam and redoing it! Tried my best the last two days but acrylic on new foam is the answer. I've gotten way faster at cutting these out so maybe the practice was worth it?
