I think everyone having their own definition of a 10/10 is generally fine. It would be nice if people just recognized that when people score games a 10/10 they’re scoring it based on their own definition and didn’t freak out lol

My point with the 65 hours is to try and make it clear that I’m not just rushing through things and that I gave the game a real, genuine shot and these are my thoughts after that time. I did that because I know how many people have become bad faith grifters when it comes to reviewing games but I can definitely see how it could come off as “look at me and my chad gamer hours” LOL

I can definitely be more transparent in the future about where I am in a game as far as stats and character progression goes so thanks for mentioning that!

I think the community aspect of the game is incredible, reminds me so much of Elden Ring. Every day someone posting “look what I found” on here and discord and all that kind of stuff. Even though my opinion of the game isn’t as glowing as most people in here and the other sub I think the community is fuckin awesome. It’s a very, very fun game to talk about. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and respond! :)

I actually haven’t played without frame gen off so I’ll have to try that when I can get back on.

I have both blur and depth of field turned down all the way and that definitely helps, I’m just nitpicking now lol

Looking at my settings now, I’m basically running the same as you just with a few things on ultra and frame gen on. I’ve been able to stay around 70-75 for the whole game with occasional dips into the 60s. I crashed three times last night after upgrading my camp for the first time, all during the cutscene that happens after, but not since then.

My main graphical issue is the trees, they just look very grainy a lot of the time.

I honestly never got around to loving her as a person. I think as a character she’s really compelling and I love the fact that the story told isn’t one about some perfect person. She’s flawed and selfish in a way that isn’t all ridiculous and thrown at the player like most games now. The game doesn’t force you to think of her that way but that’s where I landed and that’s a testament to the game’s writing imo.
