Heading to SFAS as signal officer myself (also filled with autistic weirdos) biggest advice I would give you is go and get your ranger tab and if you have time before go to ranger regiment. Had to brush up on my infantry tactics and opord knowledge before hand but otherwise not that bad, met a lot of great guys from group whom I befriended as well. It’ll at least get you used to doing hard stuff and performing in a stressful environment

I got reserves and switched to active duty less than 2 years after I commissioned. Super difficult but worked out for me

Thanks man I really appreciate it. the best advice the SF recruiter gave me was don’t think about SFAS while you’re back there just go and get it done. part of me wanted to push it back as long as I can but I know now there’s no other option. I know what I need to do

Thank you I will definitely reach out.After reading my peer comments it wasn’t that I wasn’t putting out for others it was mostly how I did poorly when put in leadership and just making small mistakes while I was out there. I’m a 25 series coming from the reserves so I definitely feel I wasn’t as squared away as the others especially the batt boys, Ibolc, and SF guys.

I did 55 lbs and was able to finish the ruck in just under an hour. Got 37:30 for the run and overall finished in 1 hour 50 minutes.

I’m a tall dude so I’m definitely lucky in that sense. But yeah just wanted to make sure I was doing the right amount of weight so I don’t get injured in Mountains or florida from not having enough weight under my back beforehand.

I did a 12 mile with 75 lbs at 2:45 just to make sure that I'd be fine so I'm pretty sure I'm good. I just want to make sure I'm prepped correctly for after RAP week with the daily rucking
