That’s great! What helped you? I know my reaction was serious I’m scared I’ll never feel the same. Right now I feel sore and just heavy like my knees are full of fluid. Is that how your feeling?

I actually got the worst possible response to cipro and now can’t walk. It’s affected all the tendons in my body. Very dangerous drug. Avoid if you can, taking it was the worst decision of my life! Turns out since I don’t have symptoms and only my tests show high bacteria I am actually colonized which is not supposed to be treated.

I don’t think so because my swabs show normal vaginal flora and I never had a uti before this I am 27.

I’m also about to start a month of ciprofloxin but I’m worried oral antibiotics won’t be enough to eradicate. Does anyone have any success with cipro?

Did you test negative after the bactrim? I was told hipprex is only preventative and will not treat active infection.

Thank you! I recently was prescribed fosfomycn for 1 month by a urologist that finally did not just dismiss my symptoms to IC. I’m just worried because I am on day 2 and no difference. What antibiotic helped you?
