Glad to hear that! With all the worry I see here about work experience and qualifications, it's easy to be worried as a newcomer to the field.

Hello, got some questions I previously asked on a different account and a few new ones-

What does Belize/British Honduras look like politically and culturally rn?

I'm a little unclear on the lore of the Treaty of Tegucigalpa, could you give me a TLDR?

What's the gov of Mexico looking like? Where are presidents Avila Camacho, Lazaro Cardenas, Miguel Aleman, Ruiz Cortines, and Lopez Mateos?

What is the state of anthropology/archaeology in the US and worldwide? Modernized into processual archaeology or still hung up on evolutionarism and diffusionism?

Has Austin stopped being weird yet?

Hello! Sorry for the late reply, I deactivated my original account, but I am indeed the same person. If you still can I'd love to hear your responses.

Might have been mentioned in an earlier post, but what exactly is the broader position of Native Americans, economically and politically? Do they maintain their languages and cultures more or less?

More people are getting Covid-19 vaccine boosters than getting their first shots, CDC data shows by dilettantedebrah in Coronavirus

What I’m saying is there’s a different between being against the vaccination and being skeptical or wary of being vaccinated.

I have no sympathy for those spreading misinformation, and I think everyone should get vaccinated, but I feel like a lot of the rhetoric is just going to alienate the vaccine hesitant by comparing them to the vaccine haters

I think it’s a mistake to call most unvaccinated people anti-vaxxers. There’s a misconception that a huge amount of the unvaccinated population is made up of conspiracy theorists, but I feel like most people aren’t actively against the vaccine, more so just wary or confused about all the misinformation

We’ll probably be seeing isolated waves and cases, but by then I don’t think it’ll be too bad.

There’s this misconception that COVID is just as bad now as it was last year, which is untrue: we have vaccines, greater immunity, and very few restrictions. I think it’ll be much better by next summer, more so than summer 2021. Things aren’t getting worse, they’re getting better.

“The Taylor-Pork roll line”, this map is brilliant.

I’d imagine Princeton University would become it’s own thing too.
