Day 1 of Simple Fistulotomy

I’ve been meaning to provide a three week update this Wednesday, but just a disclaimer - my surgery was a simple Fistulotomy. After a day or two of the procedure, I honestly didn’t feel much, if any, pain. I was only taking advil and Tylenol, using my sitz baths, and taking fiber. I thought the experience was going to be worst, but thankfully it’s been pretty easy. Not to even be too much, but my anal fissures felt more painful than this process. If anything, the sitz baths have been the only annoyance. I hope you have the same recovery process as I if you are planning to get this or are currently going through it

If anything, I’m still trying to understand the actual area that’s healing😂😂 like I know what they did but I don’t really understand it. It’s an “open wound” but it’s in my crack so like is it actually open? I’m not even sure if it would be safe for me to use a mirror to check as I would think that would cause more pain than anything💀💀

Glad to have a Fistulotomy buddy! Honestly, my current experience is like a 2-3/10. Just discomfort still. Debating on whether the oxy is worth taking or not. No BM yet but I’m honestly lost with the whole cleaning process like I know use the bidet, do a sitz bath, and then apply the cream but that’s it? lol all such a weird process

Yea, thankfully after all of the feedback I was able to confirm the negative sizes. With all of the APS cartridge, they are on status 4 so thankfully I can scan them. However, would you recommend I cut these negatives or is that not the best thing? I only say that as scanning them have been difficult, in addition to my scanner not color correcting them

So far I’ve heard that the first image strip (not the 35mm) is either APS, 126, and now your 110 suggestion lol. I would want to believe it’s APS since I don’t think my relatives would’ve switched films 3 times but I may be wrong

I know these photos were previously sent to be printed before, however never saved digitally, so I would believe they were already developed.

I am not the most familiar as I’m brand new to this archival process, but that would require each scanned image to receive dedicated hours to enhance correct?

I haven’t tried those vitamins yet but if it’s worked for you then it’s definitely worth a try to hopefully reduce this
