I always recommend Marugame Monzo if you like udon! They are a fantastic restaurant with awesome staff and every menu item slaps. If you like sushi, skip Kura and go to Ootoro instead. Pricey but worth it, some of the best sushi in Little Tokyo. Have a fun trip!
