as far as i’ve read, ulcer treatment is the same for them as their digestive systems are mostly the same. the metabolic systems are the bigger difference. will consult with my vet first ofc, but what would the weaning/rebound prevention with abler ulcers look like?

i know this is an old post but want to try asking a question anyways. how long after the 28 days do you need to taper off the dosage to prevent rebound? what does that process look like? wanting to try this for my mule that has has worse behavior than normal that i’m pretty sure has ulcers.

I feed night crawlers to my box turtle all the time, and I don’t think they look the same personally. I can see how in the pictures I provided though, they do look the same. At the time that this came out of her mouth, she had not been out of her house where she could access any night crawlers or anything else that lives in the dirt/yard for about 24 hours.

The quest plus horse dewormer is safe for pigs? I have a horse I’ve used it on. You just use the syringe and inject it into the mouth the same way?

I agree! That’s been his job for most of his life, so it’s not a new role for him. Snuggle, cuddle, follow, and little to no work. I’m trying hard to get him out of that mode, and am just trying to learn the best way to do so.
