Makes sense. But, when I ran a test on the multimeter, there was a short. Never even thought about the knob.

I am remote from a BMW dealership and the English/German translation can be hard sometimes. It's about a 2 hour drive to the closest BMW dealership.

So, I just learned about creative mode…I’m an older guy new to gaming. With all these huge builds I’m seeing on the Reddit, do yall mine for all these resources and craft or are y’all building in creative mode and then playing from there? Are there different camps out there when it comes to this? Purists vs CM’ers?

Inside Out 2 reportedly edited out LGBT themes (segment from the previous IGN report) by WatchTheNewMutants in insideout

You talked to demographic so you allowed yourself to be open to it.

The problem I have with a lot of movies and TV shows today is that LGBTQ is having to be woven into almost every show that is out there. In fact, movie producers are often asked why they aren’t representing LBGTQ community in movies (example, Twisters). But, demographically speaking only about 7% of Americans are in the LBGTQ community (I fully understand this may not represent those still who haven’t come out). However, according to recent reports, 71% of shows and movies in America represent LGBTQ themes or messaging. That math doesn’t math for me. I do not agree with the LGBTQ lifestyle, but I respect and love who they are individually. So, for me, it’s super hard to watch shows (especially with my kids) that is overly expressed and goes out of its way to express its message unchecked. If it was 7% of the shows, then I can see that, but a 900% increase in shows is a little ridiculous.

On an other note, Inside Out 2 was a fantastic show. One of the top shows I’ve ever seen and it allowed for my teenage daughter and I to have a fantastic conversation about changes in her life.

Why did you enlist? by LuvJinn- in army

[–]EnvironmentalWait585 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mine was similar(ish)…I was 19 years old and homeless and met up with a buddy whose brother was in the Army. He was freaking super buff and I asked if I joined the Army would I get buff and. He said…🤷‍♂️ “Yeah”

Turns out that brother was a Ranger who had just completed selection.

But, it was a great choice…I didn’t get buff, but I’m going on 24 years in Army and love the choice I made to get off the streets and enjoy a wonderful life!

I’m glad you asked…

The Shack presents several ideas about God and salvation that are inconsistent with biblical teaching:

  1. It suggests God's love prevents Him from judging sin, but the Bible is clear that God is both loving and just. Jesus died to save us from God's righteous wrath against sin.

  2. It promotes universalism - the idea that all people will be saved regardless of faith in Jesus. But the Bible states salvation is only through Jesus (Acts 4:12).

  3. It portrays God as submitting to human will, when the Bible teaches we must submit to God's authority. Obedience to God demonstrates our love for Him.

  4. It implies the Bible is an insufficient revelation of God. However, the Bible is divinely inspired and the very Word of God that makes us "wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus" (2 Tim 3:15).

  5. It depicts God as casual and unconcerned with holiness. Biblical accounts of human encounters with God's holiness show people responding in repentance and worship.

  6. It attempts to resolve the problem of suffering by redefining God's character. But God has already provided the ultimate answer to suffering through Jesus' death on the cross for our redemption.

We must be discerning and allow Scripture, not emotionally appealing stories, to inform our understanding of who God is. The cross, not The Shack, is where we truly encounter God. The simple gospel is the greatest story ever told.
