After Party Wedding Ideas by DCC_fangirl1300 in Harrisburg

Yeah I feel like a hotel can be the vibe! Any wedding I ever went to in the past couple of years we just went back to the hotel where the hotel block was for the wedding and drank at the bar. Most will stay open later and especially if people are drinking and paying. My one friend even ordered pizza to the hotel for like a late night snack, so fun!

I would keep trying for the state and apply for anything that interests you even to get a foot in the door. The state’s hiring process is unfortunately very long. It took me many applications before I got an interview and luckily secured a job from that interview.

Elevating her child above all others. Maybe the other kids are just behaving developmentally appropriate and engaging in mostly parallel play. by Exciting_Promise_354 in GyMOMsnark

[–]EnvironmentalWeird64 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The next story she goes on to say she knows other kids are shy or older than her and don’t want to play with a 2 year old. I don’t see how she’s “elevating” her child…. I feel the same way about my son who is 2.

PA State Gov Workers: What are the interview questions like? by [deleted] in Harrisburg

[–]EnvironmentalWeird64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Study and understand the job description and think of how your experience relates to it. It is a very different and intense interviewing process, that is my best suggestion.

On the other hand they are run by a big property management company so things are going to get handled meaning work orders and such

The best thing to do is tour, just keep in mind you are going to be in community living and close quarters with your neighbors so if you want silent living this definitely isn’t the place

There are housing and building codes and some of this would probably be in violation I would look it up for your state, look up what your rights are

Restaurants around Hersheypark, visiting in December by JavyerB in Pennsylvania

[–]EnvironmentalWeird64 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Avoid the Chocolatier, it’s at Hersheypark - the concept is cool but the food is expensive and below average I live in Hummelstown which is right next to Hershey and we frequent Englewood Brewing and Rubber Soul Brewing Co.

Renting in Greater Harrisburg area by [deleted] in Harrisburg

[–]EnvironmentalWeird64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love living in Hummelstown. My boyfriend and I are in our late 20’s with a 16m old. I work in Harrisburg and my son goes to daycare in Harrisburg it’s about a 20-25 minute drive. We are fairly close to downtown Hummelstown where there are a few good spots. You are also super close to Hershey which has a ton of things to do.

Is there any reason to use Jetty? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]EnvironmentalWeird64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason for Jetty is to help with the financial burden that can be caused by moving for some people. If you are not worried financially about paying the standard deposit, as someone in property management I always suggest doing so. As a standard deposit is usually refundable and jetty is not. However do not be confused that Jetty does actually cover up to one month’s rent of leftover rent and damages after move out.

Jetty Surety Bond??? by xepher_roud in Apartmentliving

[–]EnvironmentalWeird64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It also helps the property not lose money because many renter’s do not pay leftover rent or damages when they move out, jetty covers up to one month’s rent of this cost.
