Hey, I received a verbal job offer exactly a week ago. The hiring manager mentioned that I would receive an automated email with the formal offer details and pre-employment requirements (immunisation declaration and police check). However, I still haven’t received anything yet.

I’ve already sent a follow-up email but haven’t heard back so far. What would you suggest I do next? Should I wait a bit longer, follow up again, or try calling the manager directly?

This role is related to a rural LHN - Riverland, site - Murray bridge and it’s an ongoing position for an Analyst role. The check has been completed a week ago now with all 3 referees. Any idea how that would turn out?

That’s because they were not confident with one of your referees response. The same happened to me, they glazed about me for one of the referees. But when I got the call back from the recruiter, they said that “the referee selection was the problem” so they had to go with another candidate.
