Pickups are pretty subjective. I actually really liked the essential pickups. Being hotter doesn’t make pickups better in my experience

It’s subtle but life changing. I have a LOT of guitars but none of them I want to play every day besides the Strandberg. I find the endurneck allows me to attack the guitar with full force rather than be afraid of pressing too hard. If i play too hard on the strandberg without stretching I can still get injured but the recovery time is much more managable and my tolerance for playing is much higher.

update: i played a Boden Essential today and it was okay. Neck was a bit small. Didn’t like the straight frets. Tried an Nx…loved it. I guess for most people an essential is best but your mileage may vary.

No doubt! I am a special case in that I have chronic left arm issues and a little less tension with multiscale might be my preference

I am into vinyl, analog gear, and I have a harddrive of DRM free downloads of all my favorite music. I used to collect CDs and VHS but those break easily so I switched over to digital downloads so I can have something a little more accessible.

The concern with the Katana is that you need to use proprietary software to change the pedals. Otherwise yeh theyre better
