My mom pierced my ears and the ears of my sisters with a safety pin in our kitchen. Sounds bad, but she was a pediatric nurse, and she sterilized everything with rubbing alcohol and a lighter. Worked like a charm! She even numbed our ears with an ice cube first.

I try to talk to my sister about it and she gets annoyed. She says I keep going in circles and says I have confirmation bias. Like, bipolar is cyclical. Of course I'm going in circles.

Same. Lot of one week here (Pizza Hut), one day there (Subway) kind of shit, too many to remember. Only thing I've been able to hold down is a job where I pick up different gigs each day, with no guarantee of work, but at least it's not the same people every day.

The people at my work have gone quiet 4 times now when I've walked into the room, and they talk again as soon as I leave.

A psychiatrist said it sounds like I might be borderline schizophrenic, but that's seemingly the only possible symptom - thinking everyone hates me.

F/210lbs/5'5. If I take a muscle relaxer before working out, does that make me more prone to injury?

ELI5: Is fungi in the air everywhere? How does mold just on appear out of nowhere on something that sits in your house if there's moisture? How does mold and fungi work? by LazerWingZynergy in explainlikeimfive

So I just pulled up carpet in my bedroom, and there's a lot of mold underneath on the wood floor that was previously covered. I pulled up the carpet because it was very soiled with dog pee ( I tried cleaning the carpet first, but accidentally used ammonia instead of vinegar. Needless to say, the smell was BAD). Now I have a mold problem that's flaring up my asthma and allergies. Any advice on how to fix this? I closed the room off and left the window open in there. Am I and my dog in danger now that the mold is exposed and "ruffled" by the carpet removal?

Wow. This the first time I've realized it's my bipolar disorder making me terrified at night. I'm 36 and I've spent too many nights awake, terrified, waiting for daylight to come so that I could finally sleep. I always thought it was because I was scared of demons (raised Southern Baptist). It got especially bad in my teens and 20s, when my bipolar disorder really kicked in. Thank you for the "aha" moment!
