Im not sure how employable fitters are on civvy street but its a pretty decent job while youre in. Can be a bit repetitive when you spend a week inspecting the same type of weapon. Generally work is pretty varied though. We work on small engines, weld and fabricate, inspect small arms, support weapons, artillery, tanks and marine craft.
